Oliver James-Long Time Coming
Everybody wants to be loved
Every once in a while
We all need someone to hold on to
Just like a helpless child
Can you whisper in my ear
Let me know its all right
It's been a long time coming down this road
and now I know what I've been waiting for
just like a lonely highway
I'm trying to get home,
Love's been a long time coming.
You can love for a lifetime
You could love for a day
You can think you've got everything but
Everything is nothing when you throw it away
Then you look in my eyes
And I have it all once again
Didn't know I was lost
Till you found me
Didn't know I was blind
But now I see
Can you whisper in my ear
Let me know its all right
It's been a long time coming down this road
And now I know what I've been searching for
Been a long, long highway
And now I see
Love's been a long time
Oh been a long time
Love's been a long time coming.
Day one.
Touched down at beautiful Suvarnabhumi airport. The journey to the hotel took us like forever. Traffic in Bangkok is really bad. Stayed at Asia hotel which is directly in front of the Bangkok train station. It makes things a lot more convenient as it is situated near to the main shopping centers in Bangkok. Didint do much on the first day besides eating some pretty decent Thai cuisine.
Day two.
It was an exhausting day. Went for a tour ride on the Thai tail boat. Pretty sights, breathe taking sceneries, beautiful temples and buildings filled the journey throughout the boat ride. Went to one of the shopping center after that. MBK shopping center. It was really huge. A nice place to hang out in:) Ate at the very posh footcourt which cost us quite a lot. Continued walking and shopping. Went back to the hotel for some rest before heading to Patpong market at night. Ate at Silom Village trade center. What a beautiful place it was. Filled with tourist, souveniers, beautiful surounding and several restaurants. However, the seafood there is pretty costly i must say. Bought some souveniers, shirts, decorations and so many more just in one night. If your looking for a place with sex shows, clubs, bikini babes. Patpong is the right place for you. LOL It's famous for tourists, especially men:). Nope, I did not go into any of those sleazy places. Went for a foot massage after that. It was pretty good.
Day three.
Spent the whole day shopping at various shopping malls. The weather was scorching hot. Visited the famous four face buddha. Went to Bangkok's computer city. Went to this wholesale shopping mall called "Platinum". If your searching for cheap clothes, accesories, shoes and other stuff. This would be the right place for you. The "Calypso" caberat show was hilarious. Yeap. They were all transexual except for a few real men. Dressed in skimpy outfits.
Day four.
Woke at 4 am in the morning to get ready for our flight. Had breakfast at the Suvarnabhumi airport bofore heading back to KL. Continued our journey back to johor. Went to my grandmother's place before heading home. Overall, the whole trip was great. Truely enjoyed my stay there.
Went out with all my highschool buddies yesterday. Shopped, ate, chatted and we even had our four leaf clover necklaces engraved with our names. The four of us have been friends for almost 7 years. Sonia is studying in Australia, Shar is staying back in jb while sze and me is stucked in KL. Probably I'll join sonia over in Australia next year's second semester. :)
Alright then. I'll leave you with pictures I took throughout the whole Bangkok trip and a couple of pictures from yesterday's outing. Till then, Enjoy your weekends:)
