I fell in love with many of the songs from women on top, the movie. So romantic. Paulinho Moska sings well. His from Brazil by the way.
Well, every year would be similar to one another as days are filled with both good and bad experiences. However, as we go further, no doubt what comes by gets tougher each year. I gain new experiences every year. I bid farewell to year 2007 and welcome the new year of 2008.
There are good and bad events which took place and here are some of them:
1)The virginia tech massacre: Cho Seung Hui killed 32 and wounded many more before commiting suicide. This have marked one of the deadliest school shooting in the United States. It became news that shocked the world. He was known to be mentally ill. However, I do believe that this is caused by the emotional hurt and anger of being bullied.
2)Adam Air flight 574 went missing and was suspected to have crashed into the ocean. All passengers on board are presumed to be dead.
3)Windows vista and office 2007 was released. Technology have grown rapidly. We see new inventions almost every year.
4)Malaysia celebrates 50 year of independence on 31st of August.
5)The Malaysian sports team in the recent SEA Games managed to achieve an impressive total of 68 gold medals. It is the best achivement outside the country.
6)Men's doubles badminton pair Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong took the world number one spot and remains at the spot.
7)Wong Mew Choo proved that Malaysian women's teman could deliver by winning the China masters beating the formidable Xie Xing Fang of China in the finals.
8)Daniel Bego and Khoo Chai Lin qualified for the 2008 Olympics with impressives results throught the whole year. They broke several National and south east asia record.
9)The 2014 Asian games is awarded to be held in Incheon, Korea.
10)Tony Blair Resigns as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
11)Kimi Raikonen was crowned world champion of year 2007.
12)Hady Mirza was crowned as the first Asian Idol winner.
13)Eva Longoria and Tony parker tied the knot on th 7/7/07.
The year ended with the assasination of Benazir Bhutto. 20 Others perished during a bomb attack at Pakistan.
My new year resolutions would be:
1)Score better for the following monash exams.
2)To improve writting and speaking skills.
3)To be a better sister, friend and a daughter.
4)To be more confident and less shy.
5)To meet that special someone
6)Improve driving skills
7)Sleep earlier:P
Thats all I could think of right now. I'll slowly add more some other time.
No doubt I admit that It is pretty hard for other people to get into my life. Many think of me as an arrogant person. The reason behind this would be because I am an incredibly shy person. I open up to only people I am familiar and close with. I only believe in long lasting friendship.
I am that sort of person who take notice of every single detail of my life. I am a very conscious person who cares about almost everything. I dont share much because I feel that I can handle them rather than to bother people because everyone have their own problems.
I would love to learn more and improve further. No doubt there is not one person without flaws.
Went over to Singapore last week for the last few days of christmas lightings and decorations in Orchard road. It was pretty similar to those during last year's christmas but still as beautiful as ever.
Visited One of my best friends at the hospital.
Sharveen : Do take good care of your health. Get well soon. I want you to be able to join us for our outings and sleepovers.
Celebrated New year's ever at George and Dragon and Eden Hotel. It was pretty boring without my sister being there.
My sister came back from UK the next day. Brought back lots of goodies for all of us.:)
Went over to city square and Tebrau City the next day with the girls. Spent time eating, talking, and walking around. Had a sleepover at sonia's house on that day itself. I enjoyed myself:)

My 3 bestfriends: Szejia, Sonia and Sharveen. Almost 8 years of friendship and still going on strong. You guys are important to me and I cherish your friendship.
I have too many people to thank. You guys are all great and I sincerely wish you all the best with 2008 and may all the great things happen to each and everyone of you.
