City of God (Cidade De Deus) is absolutely a great film. One of the best foreign film I have ever watched. The film is an epitome of a great foreign film. It is based on a true story in Brazil. Great editing, great actors, great direction and great cinematography. There is a sense of realism while watching the movie. Indeed, a shocking truth of Brazil.
Fernando Meirelles's eye-opening film takes you inside the poverty-stricken favelas of Rio de Janeiro, where residents cower in fear while squads of brutal teenagers run the neighborhood drug trade. While watching his peers seduced by lives of crime and violence, one young man determines to break free and become a professional photographer. (AOL)
There is a lot of violence but the movie is worth watching. 9/10.
Yes. I admit that I don't fancy short lived friendship. I like it long term. These are 3 of the people who made the line "friends forever" worth mentioning. Almost 9 years of friendship and still going strong. Many of us have gone through so much of changes, we however, still maintain and accept these changes. We all understand each and every single characteristics and habits. We are real in front of one another. We share every single ups and downs (Every heartbreaks, relationships, joy and laughters). I'm thankful for what god has given me. I am definitely proud to introduce them to people I come across in life. Occasionally, I do missed certain moments. The 4 of us are all currently in 3 different places.
To Szejia: I had an incredible time in KL with you. We had fun and we definitely shared a lot of things. I appreciate every single effort you have done to maintain our friendship. Your an amazing girl with great personality. Continue pursuing you dream to write. I know that you will become a great one:) You will definitely find that special someone who would appreciate you for who you are.
To Sonia: My dearest Baboon. I know that living alone outside Malaysia is not easy. Be strong and take good care of yourself. I will listen if there is any time when you feel troubled. I really liked the fact that you care a lot for your friends. I had so much of fun hanging out and sharing with you. You and your bubbly personality. I'm glad that your happily attached. Hope to see you soon in June:)
To Sharveen: I know that you try hard to maintain our friendship and I am aware of that. Sticking and standing by you for so many years have somehow taught me so much. It's been all great and I'm glad that I had these memories. Be more confident in what you do and you will definitely do great. Most importantly, take good care of your health. Be healthy. There will definitely be someone out there for you:)
