Finally!
I completed the final assignment for this semester after so much of time spent on it. Ugh. You know, I real am having this fear that came out of nowhere towards this subject. It's supposed to be one of those relatively easier subjects. =_= wth I spent hours and hours just thinking about the question I choose and if I was on the right track. Damn it! At such crucial moment, the lecturer actually went for some field research. Left us an email one night before leaving at 11am in the next morning. If only the email came in much more earlier. ugh.
I just wanted to finish that damn essay once and for all and yes I finally did.
How is it that people actually determine that their partner have certain similar qualities and why is that there are expectations on who they would date. You know, I don't really know what makes people have certain expectations on who they should date and who they should not date. I mean. Where did all these expectations came from? Is there any rule stating that people should date: The hot and good looking ones, the incredibly smart ones, the charming ones, the humorous ones etc. Why are people divided into two different groups?: The one that most people would go out with and the one that most people won't. Isn't love supposed to be something pure and simple OR it probably does not exist at all. Do people couple up because they are taught that being in a relationship is a must and it's what everyone should do? These expectations comes from, again the values from our surrounding. How do we know that we prefer to go out with people that have certain qualities? How do we know which qualities are we attracted to? Ahh I see. It's probably from certain magazines or books you read, certain television programs, certain movies you watch or even from people you talk to. It's ironic that we actually have all these being around us. I would love to hear that feelings comes naturally from mutual understanding and communication with one another. If only things are simpler and that love could be so genuine. If only there isn't such a thing called expectations. Everything would have been perfect.
There is this Japanese food fair going on at Sunway Pyramid. Go check it out when your free. It will be there until the 8th of June. Things there are sold at relatively cheap price. :) I can't believe that I actually spent so much just on Japanese tidbits=_= my my! The fair sure is sinful. Ugh.
