The 3 of us decided to visit our neighboring country this time round for some cycling and food tasting actions. Let’s just say that it was exhausting but worthwhile. We started our journey at city hall. Walked around and had our window shopping moments without purchasing anything even though it was tempting. Had lunch at one of the dim sum outlet then proceeded to East Coast Park. So here is the thing. We got lost (Why were we lost? We asked several kind Singaporeans but they all gave us different directions). At the end of the day, thanks to the bus driver at Pasir Ris, we managed to make our way there. Without a doubt, it was a perfect day for a cycling outing considering the fact that the weather was good. The cool breeze touches our face as we move around with our bikes. Spent approximately 2 hours at East Coast Park before heading to one of the Ponggol Nasi Lemak outlet at Covan. Kenny Sia blogged about this famous place, I guess it was a must-try for us. My verdict was: It is indeed the best Chinese-style nasi lemak but it wasn’t the best that I have eaten. I guess it was famous because of their rice, their sambal and their side dishes. It was overall an enjoyable trip. Spent the next day meeting up with Sonia and Sharveen at City Square before heading for another Smart Money game session at night (We had quite a number of people coming along this time round). My weekend was spent at home cooking and spending time with the siblings. Went over to Sze Jia’s house the next day to bake some cornflakes cookies (It was funny because I wasn’t sure on how to make them but it turned out pretty good, minus the fact that it was a little too sweet). Lol Oh well it was rather encouraging because at every single attempt of cooking, Christina will always be my main supporter. Sweet indeed.Went out again with Jason, Sonia, Alvin, Rachel, Sze and Jeane the next day. We tricked Sze Jia into watching Diary of the Dead. Hahahaha! Bet she wanted to skin us alive at the time. The movie was just an average film. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t that bad either considering the fact that it gets people thinking while watching the film.

Lastly, KL trip was fun!! The first day was a very random one. Was supposed to meet Weiliang at One Utama but had a change of plan instead. He suggested a badminton outing. I wasn’t prepared at all. I had no sports attire and had no racquet. I played bare footed with Liang’s racquet. We played at 9pm. Lol I never had a night game before but let me tell you, this was fun. This was organized by one of Liang’s colleague and her friend and they are indeed nice people. We picked Selina up from Grandma’s place before heading to Murni for supper after that. The next day was spent at Monash, Bukit Bintang and Ministry Of Sound. MOS was crazy! I see so many people getting drunk, people getting thrown out, people getting lost etc. But it was nice meeting everyone again. I shall allow the pictures to elaborate more. Happy Chinese New Year everyone. Gong Xi Fa Cai!
