Fears

We all constantly have fears of the things around us (be it loneliness, being sick, fulfilling expectations, getting good grades etc.). It's quite simple to point out the pushing factors towards these fears: The lack of confidence and being over protected. It's ironic because we constantly worry about trivial matters that are not worth our time.

So here's the thing. The fear that bothers me the most happens to be something unchangable but more like I'm forced to adapt to it. The fact that my right ear doesn't function that well bothers me a lot. I'm afraid to talk to people unless they knew about it. It's unhealthy. I know.

I can do so much better than this.

I've got an old suitcase full of my old ways,
But I tossed it away and I swallowed that key.

Anyway, watched "The taking of Pelham 123" today. I wasn't blown away considering the fact that the film had like a full cast of pretty good actors like John Travolta and Denzel Washington. The movie was dull and predictable. More like a popcorn movie. Nothing fascinating nothing less.
6/10

Inglorious Basterd on the other hand was really good. Quentin Tarantino once again lived up to his name as a fantastic producer/auteur. This is arguebly one of his best work. I liked the fact that it's bold, fresh, violent, playful, hilarious, and thrilling. Christoph Waltz did an amazing job in bringing out the character of Hans Landa (An Oscar nomination for this??).

Worth watching indeed! 9/10

It's going to be a busy busy week with major assignments to be completed, a lot of birthdays :), Beyonce's concert, Prom and I'm going back to Malaysia wuuuuuuu hehe
