I'll tell you why it's so troublesome being a girl. The notion of beauty and how beauty is portrayed as through the media and the public have big influenced on all of us. Beauty refers to nice skin, fair skin, nice body, nice features, ideal weight & height.
So this is why my dinner for tonight is just a gourmet yoghurt with crunchy oats.

haha kidding. I never really had issues with my weight (I believe that both big and small body can be beautiful) but I do have my fair share of experiences and the price I pay for the sake of vanity.
It's pretty much common for girls to go for facials, get the perfect hairstyle from hair salloons they trust, manicure and pedicure, spa, massage etc.
To me, pedicure and manicure sessions are unneccesary. I'll tell you why. I don't get the logic of paying so much to put on those super uncomfortable and long fake nails or the fact that people spend so much on getting --> crystals, flowers and big heavy pattern on their nails when you know that they come off so easily.
I guess it's just important to keep your nails clean and healthy.
haha but I won't deny the fact that the hair, face and how people dress is very important no matter how (feminism theories blablabla. Nobody ever came up with a conclusion for these theories anyway.) your opposing the idea of women are being objectified. To me, beauty is about personal satisfaction. With satisfaction, you feel good about yourself.
ahem: I had braces on as well
Anyway, I finally got hold of the Hada Lobo hydraulic acid face solution that was so popular (apparently a bottle is sold in every 4 seconds in Japan-_-).

I'm quite ashamed to say that before this, I never trusted most asian products. Most of my beauty products are not asian products. However, it was until recently that I realised that Asian products are actually awesome! I now own a couple of Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese beauty products and I'm telling you that they are super super good products.

I have yet tried on the Hada Labo face solution. hehe I'll let you know if it's good (:
On an unrelated note, it was such a scare for me when my laptop's adaptor died just when I was halfway through one of my assignment-_- (Super unlucky la sigh) and the worst part would be that it was pretty late and most of the shops are closed. haha aiyo my heart was beating so fast. I couldn't do my work for one night. Just bought my new adaptor thankfully.(:
-_- AND WHAT THE HECK OF ALL THE TIME FOR MY IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME TO ACT UP AGAIN, IT HAS TO HAPPEN WHEN I'M HAVING SO MANY ASSIGNMENTS ON HAND! ): not funny ok. oi oi also cant oi properly.*emo
